DIRECTIONS

Step 1 — Prepare The Surface Clean the surface free of dust, oil, grease, wax and loose material. Existing paint should be sanded
to give a key. Body filler should be fully cured before priming. Step 2 — Mask glass, rubber trims, badges, threads and any area not to be primed. Step 3 — Shake the can thoroughly until the mixing ball rattles freely, and shake occasionally during use. Step 4 — Spray Thin, Even Coats Hold the can roughly 20–30 cm from the surface and apply even overlapping passes, building the film in 2–3 light coats rather than one heavy coat. Step 5 — Let each coat flash off before the next one. A heavy wet coat will trap solvent and can cause runs or slow drying. Step 6 — Dry And Sand Once the primer is fully dry, flat it back with fine abrasive paper, working evenly and keeping the paper clean. Remove sanding dust with a tack cloth or a clean, dry cloth. Step 7 — Topcoat Apply the topcoat according to the paint supplier’s instructions once the sanded primer surface is clean and dry. Step 8 — After Use Turn the can upside down and spray briefly to clear the nozzle. |
